This book was initially composed in 2015, then over the last few years after having taught numerous workshops all over UK, each section has been revised and redesigned to help you begin your journey into learning one of the oldest and highest visual art form in the Islamic Tradition

This Arabic calligraphy workbook will take you through each of the individual letters step by step showing you the correct proportions of each of the letters as well as the required angles and structure.

The most important part of learning calligraphy is creating a bond with your hand and the Qalam (pen). This is only achieved by practice, practice and practice.
For this reason each letter is accompanied with a page of practice to help you write each stroke it its correct form.
Also, we have made this book a digital version allowing you to download and use straight away! You can also print multiple copies of the practice pages so you never run out of practice!
